Handwoven in natural iraca palm by artisans in Usiacurí, Colombia, with a scalloped edge and subtle olive trim, the Cordillera coaster echoes the same craftsmanship and detailing as the placemat in a more compact form, a considered miniature designed to complete the table.

The open weave allows light to pass through, revealing the hand of the maker in every piece. Designed to sit alongside the Cordillera placemat or stand alone for drinks, it adds texture and softness without feeling overworked.

No two coasters are quite alike. Small differences in the weave, the texture of the palm and the finish of the olive trim are a natural part of the making, and part of what gives each set its character.

Handwoven from natural iraca palm, our coasters are best cared for with a gentle touch.

Wipe carefully with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Avoid soaking or prolonged contact with moisture, particularly beneath wet glasses. Keep away from excessive heat and direct sunlight, and store flat when not in use.
